The waking slumber

After an exceptional two-year run, 2022 marked a significant decline in player activities within our corporation. Given that it was the year following the official end of the pandemic, it came as no surprise that many individuals ventured outdoors to enjoy some time in the real world. However, in 2023, we experienced a noteworthy resurgence in activities. Not only did we pick up the pace, but CCP also introduced compelling features to the game, capturing the interest of both new and returning players. Additionally, we expanded our horizons into nullsec sovereignty with our allies from LinkNet. Our lowsec division, Silent Vale, fully deployed in the Providence region, began modestly but has been steadily growing as an integral part of the Red Menace coalition.

As more players joined the ranks to explore nullsec, an increase in skirmishes and sovereignty-related shenanigans provided added motivation for individuals to remain engaged and fight for the accomplishments they had built. With the approaching new year and the conclusion of the significant Non-Invasion Pact (NIP) between major nullsec entities, we now find ourselves caught between PanFam forces on one side and the Imperium on the other. This positions Providence as the potential epicenter of content in the coming months!

Common doctrine: Shrinkwrapped
Welp count: 1447
Exceptionally nimble, fast, and agile, the Raptor frigate delivers a significant punch. These combat interceptors have consistently demonstrated, for the fourth consecutive year, that piloting affordable and agile ships results in countless hours of pure fun and mayhem across any region encountered by the hungry fleet.
Raptor
2. Sabre
Common doctrine: Nullsec roams
Welp count: 218
As we ventured into nullsec, the Sabre naturally claimed its place on our list of most frequently utilized ships. A vital asset to any roaming fleet, home defense, stratop, or small gang engaging in shenanigans around our home systems. Piloting a Sabre transforms any capsuleer into a lethal ambusher, opening up exhilarating opportunities for the rest of the fleet.

3. Scalpel
Common doctrine: Shrinkwrapped
Welp count: 151
While logistics ships rarely claim top spots on the killboard, the Scalpel, a T2 logi frigate, defies the norm. Credits to Rynn and her perfected use of 'Whorrior' drones, this specialized support vessel proudly holds the rank as the 3rd most popular ship in the corporation.

4. Atron
Common doctrine: Wedge
Welp count: 138
The good ol' Derpatron! Budget-friendly yet remarkably efficient frigates, are the stars of our regular lowsec Wedge fleet brawls. This Gallente hull consistently astonishes with each undock, ensuring an abundance of fun and laughter on comms. Picture a swarm of these frigates tightly converging on a larger target, leaving nothing but a shiny explosion in their wake as they make their exit.
Atron
5. Hurricane Fleet Issue
Common doctrine: Strat Ops
Welp count: 132
Unlike the usual suspects on this list, this battlecruiser stands out as a force to be reckoned with, earning its place among our most favored ships. Whether securing strategic objectives, defending our home turf in nullsec, or engaging in large-scale operations, the Hurricane Fleet Issue never fails to showcase its versatility.

We've been up to random shenanigans throughout the year, and listing them all here would make this single page even longer to scroll! Luckily, it's become a habbit for us to post small snippets of activities worth noting on our timeline so we can always go back and have a reminder of what we did.

Be it something worthy like a major milestone or something completely stupid to make fun of for years to come - our timeline serves as a testament of all things EX-SA related.
