Welcome to Explorers' Sanctum!
As our new recruit, there's a lot to get familiar with so this page will help you get up to speed as fast as possible; covering anything from your first contact with the corporation to joining fleets from our Alliance / Coalition as well as our other NPSI friends.
I joined! Now what?
Your first task as a new recruit will be delivering the promised Exotic Dancers (Female) to your CEO - Skipp Doe in any of our offices or Dodixie / Jita. Simply contract them by moving the items from your ship cargo into the station hangar, right-click on them, select "Create contract" and the type in "Skipp Doe" into the character field to make it a private contract.
Now when you've fulfilled your recruit duty, we can move onto setting up your comms and the way you'll interact with us!
Setting up comms & services
EX-SA resources
The corporation MOTD has almost everything to get you started. It includes the locations of our offices, various channels you need to join as well as links to our Discord server. Simply click each of them to join and mingle with the rest of our friends.

Once you join EX-SA Discord (also linked in the MOTD), please rename yourself to your ingame character name so we can apply the correct access tags .
LinkNet auth
Your next step is to login into the LinkNet auth system . This will enable access to various Alliance tools, fleet calendar as well as Alliance Discord. Once you're authenticated via EVE ESI, simply add your characters (if you have multiple alts) but make sure to mark your EX-SA character as your main via the Auth Dashboard.
Once you've done so, click on Services from the main menu on the left and activate Discord (feel free to activate the rest of the services if you want). Your profile sync inside the Auth might take a few minutes since it takes some time for EVE API to refresh your corp and your profile to new values.
After you've successfully activated LinkNet Discord, make sure to add yourself into any Special interest group you want to take part of. You can do that by clicking on Groups from the main Auth menu and then simply clicking the Join button for whichever SiG you want.
After this is done, you'll be able to check all alliance activities via the Operation Calendar also found in the main Auth menu.
Let's mingle!
As you already know, we're a very social & friendly bunch of people. We also do stuff outside of the Alliance calendar which you can always find in our own fleet schedule linked in the corp MOTD. These fleets may cover PVE as well as more PVP stuff with our NPSI friends from Spectre Fleet, FUN Inc, Redemption Road, ARC etc...
Depending on the fleet host, we may use different comms so it's very important you already have Discord / Mumble installed as described above. In general, we use:
- EX-SA Discord for daily chit-chat and EX-SA only activities
- The Ancients discord for alliance chit-chat
- LinkNet Discord for Coalition fleets
- Spectre Fleet Discord & Mumble (depends on the FC)
- FUN Inc Mumble for various FUN Inc fleets
- ARC Discord for Drifter Hive runs or Pro-Edencom fleets
If you want to find a bit more about people we run with, make sure to check out the list of EX-SA verified fleets where you can find links to their websites, comms & ingame channels.
Joining fleets
So, now that you've got everything set up - let's join some fleets!

If a fleet is hosted by one of our NPSI friends, you'll need to X-up in one of their dedicated ingame channels. All of these are listed on the link above (verified fleets). On the other hand, if it's a LinkNet fleet, you can simply use the ingame fleet finder once the fleet ping has gone out.
To do so, open up your Fleet window from the ingame menu and go to the Fleet finder tab. Simply click the FC of the fleet you want to join and you're good to go!
EX-SA SRP program
As of October 2020, we introduced small corp taxes to get the SRP (Ship Replacement Program) running. These taxes apply only to a couple of activities, such as:
- Bounties above 100k ISK (killing pirates & players)
- Mission payouts above 100k ISK
- Project Discovery payouts
- CONCORD rewards (incursions)
Corp taxes do not apply to any form of trading nor making/taking contracts!
In practice, this means that Explorers' Sanctum will cover your ship losses of up to (and including) T1 cruisers for every official EX-SA / Alliance / Coalition PVP fleet. In addition, to follow in the footsteps of our beginnings, every T1 explorer lost in the depths of space will be SRPed as well!
Depending on the current corp wallet state and the fit lost - you may even get a full SRP refund for your ship as well as your modules. In addition, if you'd like to try out different roles for some of our fleets, you can request a free Logi / Scout fit as well.
Additional useful stuff and free ships
For additional useful links, info and resources - make sure to check out the corporation bulletins. These can be found directly ingame by simply opening the corporation window and clicking the Home tab.

Among other things, you will find a list of ships we can give out to newbros or pilots in need of a little boost in their early stages. Most of these ships are not fitted and are simple T1 hulls but every little bit counts when you're just starting...
If you still have any questions left, don't hesitate to ping Skipp.
Fly safe or fly it like you stole it!
